Are you ready for CASPA to open?
The waiting is excruciating.
The entire pre-PA world cheers and clinks glasses when the new CASPA cycle opens at the end of April.
The thing you’ve been working towards (for years) is finally in your reach! It’s YOUR CYCLE.
You have grand plans of applying early, writing a standout personal statement, and flying through those supplemental essays…
…but that doesn’t always happen.
One of the mistakes we see pre-PAs make is waiting too long before starting on their PA school application.
Which brings us to our tip of the day: Start your PA school application EARLY!
Don’t wait until three days before your application is due to write your personal statement…you don’t have enough time to do your best work.
Don’t wait until you get offered an interview before you practice your interview skills…buy that suit and practice answering questions to friends, family members, or the mirror before you ever get the invite.
Don’t wait until you are one semester away from graduation before realizing your GPA needs work…study hard NOW so you don’t have to fret later.
Don’t wait until the last minute to decide to take the GRE or PA-CAT. Start looking at what PA schools you plan to apply to NOW and map out what you need to have done so you have plenty of time to study for any standardized exams (like the GRE and PA-CAT).
PA school isn’t something you decide your last two weeks of undergrad that you want to do and just slap together a half-a$$ application. If you’re going to spend your time and money on applying, make it count! The earlier you start, the easier it will be!
Put in the hard work and watch it pay off when you get interview invites and accepted to PA school!
We can’t wait to hear what schools you’ve been accepted to, interviewed at, or are interested in attending!
